Arkona is a Russian folk-pagan metal band. Their lyrics are heavily influenced by Russian folklore, and Slavic mythology, and their music incorporates several traditional Russian musical instruments. The name of the band "Arkona" was the last pagan Slavic city-castle.This album features riffs that range from Russian folk ensemble, to death metal and black metal. Instruments that range from mouth harp to wind instruments. Vocals that range from choir to black metal hisses.
